My carpet is of the same origin as my gum prints. I have produced and archived hundreds of self-portraits, which all reflect different personal feelings. One day I came across hero archetypes. Heroes with superpowers. Heroes that no longer serve as heroes. I de-hero-ise them and look what is swept under the carpet. Size: 93 x 135 cm
